🚣 How do I board characters and row the boat?

To board an entity, tap any character or item currently standing on the active shore. If the boat has empty capacity, they will jump aboard. To disembark, tap the passenger on the boat. Once you have a valid pilot onboard (e.g. the Farmer in Stage 1), tap the destination shore to row across.

💡 How does the BFS Hint button work?

Our hint engine uses an on-device Breadth-First Search (BFS) graph algorithm to compute the mathematically shortest path ($S_{min}$) from your current state to the goal state. When tapped, it highlights the exact next move to make. It does not punish you or reset your score.

🧠 How is the Brain IQ score calculated?

Each puzzle has an optimal number of trips ($S_{min}$). If you solve the level in the exact minimum number of moves, you achieve the maximum 3-star rating and full IQ score (up to 140+ IQ points). Additional moves slightly reduce the efficiency score, but you can replay any completed level at any time to improve your record.

↺ Can I undo moves or restart a level?

Yes! River IQ implements a full Command Pattern history stack. You can tap the Undo button repeatedly to rewind your moves step-by-step, or tap Restart to instantly reset the board to its initial state.

🌐 How do I switch languages?

Tap the language icon in the top header or in the Main Menu settings. River IQ supports 10 languages: English (default), Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt), Spanish (Castilian & Mexico), French, German, Danish, Korean, Japanese, and Turkish. All translations switch in real time without restarting the app.

📶 Can I play completely offline?

Yes. All 35 puzzle levels, logic state engines, and audio assets are bundled locally within the app (~35 MB). No Wi-Fi or cellular connection is required.

📱 What Apple devices are supported?

River IQ is universal and optimized for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Silicon Macs running iOS 15.0 / iPadOS 15.0 / macOS 12.0 or later.

🔒 How do I reset my game progress?

If you wish to clear all saved progress and replay from Chapter 1, you can simply delete and reinstall the app from the App Store, or clear data via iOS Settings > Storage.
